Former Wake Forest All-American decanter Mike MacDougal made his chief union entrance on Saturday night for Kansas City. MacDougal started for the Royals at Comiskey Park in Chicago against the White Sox.
"I'm real excited," said the 24-year-old Las Vegas native quicker than his debut. "It will be pretty neat to get my first found in the Big Leagues. I was approaching up here to throw a few bullpen sessions and hang out. Now I'm head-over-heels.
"It will get me set for next year and get me some practice up here. Hopefully I'll learn I'm sorry? it takes to wait up here."
Muser is eager about the youth chances.
"He's a youthful kid with a good arm, very good association with good rapidity. Like a lot of young kids, be in charge of has been a big crisis for him as has civilizing his second pitch, a slider. Over the last five starts in Triple-A, he made a big push. "I don't know how he'll pitch. A lot of kids resist early when they first get at this point. I'm sure he's going to be antsy. In our situation, we're wearisome to battle our means out of the cellar. I think it's time to take a look at him."
